Mohammad Saidur Rahman
Dr Mohammad Saidur Rahman is a Lecturer in Cyber Security and Software Systems at RMIT University, Australia. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at RMIT and has held academic appointments within the School of Computing Technologies since 2020. His research spans data security and privacy, blockchain, IoT, and machine learning, and he supervises projects across emerging areas such as federated learning, automotive intrusion detection, smart‑grid security, and privacy‑preserving edge–cloud systems. In addition to his research and teaching roles, he is the Program Manager for the Bachelor of Cyber Security (BP355 & BP356). He teaches courses including Cyber Attack Analysis and Incident Response, Computer and Internet Forensics, and Introduction to Cyber Security.
